11上主，眾神誰可與你相比？誰能像你那樣，神聖尊威，光榮可畏，施行奇跡！ 11Who is like to thee, among the strong, O Lord? who is like to thee, glorious in holiness, terrible and praiseworthy, doing wonders?
12你伸出右手，大地就吞了他們； 12Thou stretchedst forth thy hand, and the earth swallowed them.
13以你的慈愛，領出了你所救的百姓；憑你的能力，領他們進入了你的聖所。 13In thy mercy thou hast been a leader to the people which thou hast redeemed: and in thy strength thou hast carried them to thy holy habitation.

15那時厄東的酋長驚惶失措，摩阿布的首領嚇得發抖，客納罕的居民膽戰心寒。 15Then were the princes of Edom troubled, trembling seized on the stout men of Moab: all the inhabitants of Chanaan became stiff.
16驚慌與恐怖降在他們身上；因你大能的手臂，他們像石塊僵立不動，直到你的百姓走過，上主！直到你所救贖的百姓走過。 16Let fear and dread fall upon them, in the greatness of thy arm: let them become unmoveable as a stone, until thy people, O Lord, pass by: until this thy people pass by, which thou hast possessed.

18上主為王，萬世無疆！ 18The Lord shall reign for ever and ever.
19法郎的馬、戰車和騎兵一到海中，上主就使海水回流，淹沒了他們；以色列子民卻在海中乾地上走過。 19For Pharao went in on horseback with his chariots and horsemen into the sea: and the Lord brought back upon them the waters of the sea: but the children of Israel walked on dry ground in the midst thereof.
20此時亞郎的姊妹女先知米黎盎手中拿著鼓，眾婦女也都跟著她，拿著鼓舞蹈。 20So Mary the prophetess, the sister of Aaron, took a timbrel in her hand: and all the women went forth after her with timbrels and with dances:

26上主說：「你若誠心聽從上主你天主的話，行他眼中視為正義的事，服從他的命令，遵守他的一切法律，我決不把加於埃及人的災殃，加於你們，因為我是醫治你的上主。」 26Saying: If thou wilt hear the voice of the Lord thy God, and do what is right before him, and obey his commandments, and keep all his precepts, none of the evils that I laid upon Egypt, will I bring upon thee: for I am the Lord thy healer.
27以後他們到了厄林，那裡有十二股水泉，七十棵棕樹。他們便在那裡靠近水邊安了營。 27And the children of Israel came into Elim, where there were twelve fountains of water, and seventy palm trees: and they encamped by the waters.
15:1-18
1-18节是一篇凯旋歌：作者首先赞扬上主战胜了埃及军队（1-10节），後预言上主率领百姓进占福地，必获全胜（11-18节）。2节「保障」，是译自希腊本，原文作「歌咏」。
15:20-21
「米黎盎」即玛利亚的埃及名字，有「为天主所爱者」的意思。女子舞蹈歌唱，欢迎战士的习俗，参阅民5；11:34；撒上18:6-7。
15:25-26
投入水中的木头，将苦水变为甜水，确是一个奇迹，因为自古至今，尚未有发见有如此效能的木头。这也是一个象徵，因为教父每将这木头比作耶稣的木架，将世苦变为甘甜。上主在玛辣所立的法律和典章，此处未提。也许当时天主只要求选民要有绝对服从的精神（26节）。这些法律和典章日後可能与其他法律混合为一。
