1上主訓示梅瑟說： 1And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:
2「正月初一，你要豎立會幕的帳棚。 2The first month, the first day of the month, thou shalt set up the tabernacle of the testimony,
3把約櫃安放在裡面，用帷幔將約櫃遮起。 3And shalt put the ark in it, and shalt let down the veil before it:
4把供桌搬進，擺上當供之物；把燈台搬進，安放上燈盞。 4And thou shalt bring in the table, and set upon it the things that are commanded according to the rite. The candlestick shall stand with its lamps,
5把焚香的金壇安放在約櫃前邊，懸上帳棚的門簾。 5And the altar of gold whereon the incense is burnt, before the ark of the testimony. Thou shalt put the hanging in the entry of the tabernacle,
6把全燔祭壇安置在會幕門口， 6And before it the altar of holocaust:
7把盆安置在會幕和祭壇之中，盆裡放上水。 7The laver between the altar and the tabernacle, and thou shalt fill it with water.
8隨後豎立庭院四周的帷幔，懸上庭院的門簾。 8And thou shalt encompass the court with hangings, and the entry thereof.
9以後拿傅禮的油，給帳棚和其中的一切器具傅油，祝聖帳棚和其中的一切器具，使之成為聖物： 9And thou shalt take the oil of unction and anoint the tabernacle with its vessels, that they may be sanctified:
10即給全燔祭壇及其一切用具傅油，祝聖祭壇，使之成為至聖的； 10The altar of holocaust and all its vessels:
11給盆和盆座傅油，使之成聖。 11The laver with its foot: thou shalt consecrate all with the oil of unction, that they may be most holy.
12以後叫亞郎和他的兒子們來近會幕門口，用水洗他們。 12And thou shalt bring Aaron and his sons to the door of the tabernacle of the testimony, and having washed them with water,
13給亞郎穿上聖衣，給他傅油，祝聖他作我的司祭。 13Thou shalt put on them the holy vestments, that they may minister to me, and that the unction of them may prosper to an everlasting priesthood.
14再叫他的兒子們前來，給他們穿上長衣， 14And Moses did all that the Lord had commanded.
15像給他們的父親傅油一樣，也給他們傅油，叫他們作我的司祭。給他們行傅油禮，表示他們世世代代，永遠盡司祭之職。 15So in the first month of the second year, the first day of the month, the tabernacle was set up.
16梅瑟奉行了一切；上主怎樣吩咐的，他就怎樣作了。 16And Moses reared it up, and placed the boards and the sockets and the bars, and set up the pillars,
17於是第二年正月初一，帳棚就豎立起來了。 17And spread the roof over the tabernacle, putting over it a cover, as the Lord had commanded.
18梅瑟豎立了帳棚，安上卯座，放上木板，安上橫木，豎起柱子。 18And he put the testimony in the ark, thrusting bars underneath, and the oracle above.
19將幕頂展開放在帳棚上，將幕頂的罩放在上面，全照上主向梅瑟所吩咐的。 19And when he had brought the ark into the tabernacle, he drew the veil before it to fulfill the commandment of the Lord.
20隨後取了約版放在櫃內，櫃旁穿上杠桿，將贖罪蓋安在約櫃上面。 20And he set the table in the tabernacle of the testimony at the north side without the veil,
21將櫃抬到帳棚內，懸上帳幔，遮住約櫃，如上主向梅瑟所吩咐的。 21Setting there in order the loaves of proposition, as the Lord had commanded Moses.
22以後把供桌放在會幕內，放在帳棚北面，帳幔以外； 22He set the candlestick also in the tabernacle of the testimony over against the table on the south side,
23在桌上於上主前擺上供餅，如上主吩咐梅瑟的。 23Placing the lamps in order, according to the precept of the Lord.
24把燈台安置在會幕內，對著供桌，在帳棚南面。 24He set also the altar of gold under the roof of the testimony over against the veil,
25在上主前放上燈盞，如上主向梅瑟所吩咐的。 25And burnt upon it the incense of spices, as the Lord had commanded Moses.
26把金祭壇安置在會幕內，帳幔的前邊。 26And he put also the hanging in the entry of the tabernacle of the testimony,
27在壇上燃燒馨香的香料，如上主向梅瑟所吩咐的。 27And the altar of holocaust of the entry of the testimony, offering the holocaust, and the sacrifices upon it, as the Lord had commanded.
28又懸起帳棚的門簾。 28And he set the laver between the tabernacle of the testimony and the altar, filling it with water.
29將全燔祭台安放在會幕門口，在上面奉獻全燔祭和素祭，如上主向梅瑟所吩咐的。 29And Moses and Aaron, and his sons washed their hands and feet,
30將盆安置在會幕和祭壇之中，盆內放了水，為洗濯之用。 30When they went into the tabernacle of the covenant, and went to the altar, as the Lord had commanded Moses.
31梅瑟、亞郎和他的兒子們在盆內洗腳。 31He set up also the court round about the tabernacle and the altar, drawing the hanging in the entry thereof. After all things were perfected,
32他們進入會幕或接近祭壇時，必先洗濯，如上主向梅瑟所吩咐的。 32The cloud covered the tabernacle of the testimony, and the glory of the Lord filled it.
33隨後在帳棚和祭壇四周，豎起了庭院的帷幔，懸起了庭院的門簾：這樣梅瑟完成了所有的工程。 33Neither could Moses go into the tabernacle of the covenant, the cloud covering all things and the majesty of the Lord shining, for the cloud had covered all.
34那時雲彩遮蓋了會幕，上主的榮耀充滿了帳棚。 34If at any time the cloud removed from the tabernacle, the children of Israel went forward by their troops:
35梅瑟不能進入會幕，因為雲彩停在上面，上主的榮耀充滿了帳棚。 35If it hung over, they remained in the same place.
36在以色列子民整個的行程中，雲彩一從帳棚升起，他們就拔營前行； 36For the cloud of the Lord hung over the tabernacle by day, and a fire by night, in the sight of all the children of Israel throughout all their mansions.
37雲彩若不升起，他們就安營不動，直等雲彩升起。 37
38在他們整個行程中，上主的雲彩白天停在帳棚上，黑夜在雲中有火，以色列全家都能見到。 38

本章可作25-39章的结论，记载梅瑟依照天主的命令，嶺立了帐棚、会幕和祭坛。最後天主在云彩和荣耀中，接受了会幕，作为他亲临的圣所。云彩和荣耀象徵天主的亲临，使百姓坚信天主时常住在他们中间（13:21,22; 24:16,17）。
